Keys are low-profiled yet the soft click is still very present. Lower option great for writing, higher for gaming.įor mechanical keyboard, it's surprisingly quiet and writing on it is really a pleasure. The USB pass-through is useful, but requires an extra usb to be plugged in to the computer which is a shame as it's only usb2 so doesnt really add any benefits.Finally, and to finish on a bad note, the logitech G hub is increadily confusing with no subtext about what any of the options do and saving profiles to the keyboard is just cumbersome and temperamental. The keys are quite close together so possibility for mushing the one next to it if you have larger fingers and the programmable 'G' keys could be further away or have a different texture to not confuse them with the ctrl & shift, but this will just take getting used to.The backlighting is bright and even across the keyboard, however the shift icons are not backlit so aren't very visible in the dark and are underneath the main icons so can be a bit confusing which one you'll press (especially & : as they are very similar). The volume roller is probably my favourite part, being able to change the volume without having to press multiple keys repeatedly.The low profile is good if you have come from a standard office keyboard, and I dont require a palm rest. Is a bit longer with the extra G keys but no taller than other standard keyboards. Solid built keyboard with no flex and key wobble is minimal.
